1970 Plymouth Cuda 440 4-speed (1 of 1 Built)

Outstanding example of an authentic original matching numbers 1970 Plymouth Cuda 440 that is 1 of 1 built.  This car was ordered in December of 1969 by salesman Jack Spaeth of 1st Avenue Plymouth located in Cedar Rapids, IA for local customer Duane Tervola.  Duane took delivery on February 20th, 1970. The fender tag from right to left decodes as: #R11- AM radio, #Y05- USA specs, #26- 26” radiator, #EN1- end of line 1, #M25- sill molding, #M31- belt molding, #M88-deck lid molding, #N41- dual exhaust, #N42- chrome tips, #N85- tachometer, #V1X- black vinyl top, #A33- track pack, #A62- rally dash, #C55- bucket seats, #J45- hood pins, #M21- drip rail molding, #FC7- Violet ( purple) exterior, #H6XW- Black and White vinyl interior, #000- upper door frame color (none), #C15- production date (12-15-1969), #E86- 440 40bbl, #D21-4-speed, #BS23- Cuda hardtop, #U-440 4-bbl, #0-1970, #B- Hamtramck assembly plant.  The original owner moved to Menasha, WI and had his title updated on December 06, 1982.  After many years of ownership he sold the car to a local gentleman who lived in New London, WI.  In 2004, the second owner decided to have the car professionally restored.  The car was a rotisserie nut and bolt restoration with great attention to detail.  During the restoration a shaker hood with 6-pac setup was added.  The original hood and 4-bbl carburetor were restored and included.  Photos of the restoration are also included.  In 2016, the second owner sold it to a gentleman in Watertown, NY who only owned the car for a short time before selling it.  The car is now a documented four owner car.  This car has been extremely well cared for since the restoration.  The car retains tons of original documentation which is organized in a binder with plastic sleeves and included.  Some of the original documentation includes the window sticker, Chrysler warranty information, dealership owner’s manual packet, owner’s manuals, bill of sale, buyer’s tax receipt, bank loan installment contracts, temporary registration, registrations from 1972-1973, title from 1982 documenting first owner history and a letter with photo of first and second owner together with car.  Many copies of original documentation are included as well such as original title application, original title, registration from 1973, purchasers receipt from 1973 and title documenting second owner history.  The car is powered by the original matching numbers 440 V8 engine that runs excellent.  The engine is coupled to the original matching numbers 4-speed transmission that shifts beautifully.  This Cuda is 1 of only 952 1970 440-4bbl Plymouth Cuda hardtops built for specs for USA.  It is 1 of 334 4-speeds built and 1 of 1 built with these options.  This Cuda is in the Chrysler Registry which is documented by Mopar expert Galen Govier.  This Cuda has also been inspected by Galen Govier and the entire report is included with the car.  This car has been restored high show quality standards throughout and is truly stunning.   This car has been serviced and detailed which is documented with an invoice that is included.
